Spelt and Almond Bread

I have made bread quite a few times bit always using a recipe online or from a cookbook so from this knowledge i decided to create my own! Super happy with how it turned out - both texture and flavour wise! It's also really easy to make and doesn't require many ingredients! Let me know what you think!

Ingredients:
Dry:
- 1 cup spelt flour
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour/starch
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Wet:
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. Pre heat the oven to 160 degrees celsius
2. In a large mixing bowl combine all of your dry ingredients and mix with a whisk to ensure there are no lumps (could also sift the flour)
3. In a seperate bowl, whisk together all of your wet ingredients. Add this mixture to your dry and mix until everything is combined
4. Line or grease a loaf tin and pour your mixture into it. Feel free to top with any nuts or seeds - i topped mine with white sesame seeds. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes. Once cooked, leave to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling wire to cool before cutting. Keep stored in a bread bag or airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
Make sure to take a photo if you give the recipe a go and send it to me on Instagram at @shannons.plate !
