Christmas is honestly just the best time of the year for many, many, many reasons haha and one of them is all the yummy Christmas food and flavours! This year i have become obsessed with anything gingerbread and have been incorporating it into everything!
Overnight oats is are one of my go-to's and they perfect for this time of year since you don't have to cook them. You can also have this flavour combo in your normal oats so make sure to give this recipe a go!

Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3/4 cup oat or almond milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (can swap for some vanilla extract)
- 3/4 tsp (so 3, 1/4 tsp) cinnamon
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp ginger powder depending on how strong you want it
- Small handful of raisins (they go so nice and juicy in overnight oats!!!)
- Toppings: banana, pear, almond butter and granola

Instructions:
1. In a jar, mix together your oats and chia seeds with your protein powder, cinnamon and ginger.
2. Add your milk and raisins to the jar and mix together until well combined and there are no lumps from the powder.
3. Put your lid on and place in the fridge overnight. Serve straight from the jar and enjoy!
This is such a delicious recipe so i definitely recommend giving it a go and if you do make sure to tag me on Instagram at @shannons.plate! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
