French toast was one of my absolute favourites as a kid - especially drenched in maple syrup and served with banana! I used to have it with plain white bread but it's just as yummy with seeded bread, homemade bread, sourdough, or with my homemade bread! It's super easy to make and is absolutely delicious so make sure to give it a go!

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk of choice (I used oat)
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Toppings: maple syrup, banana, nut butter

Instructions:
1. Begin by adding your egg to a flat bowl (so that your bread can fit in it) with your milk and cinnamon. Whisk with a fork
2. Add your slices of bread, soak both sides and allow to sit in the mixture for a few minutes to absorb the mixture
3. While your bread is sitting in the mixture, heat a pan on a low to medium heat (you can fry the bread by itself or in butter or coconut oil). Add your slices of bread to the pan and cook for a few minutes on each side or until golden
4. Serve straight away with your choice of toppings!
