Now this honestly just tastes like breakfast for dessert. If you're getting tired of your usual stovetop/microwave oats and have the time then i definitely recommend giving this recipe a go!! It does take a little bit longer to make but trust me it is so worth it!
The banana paired with the spices is just dreamy and the texture is perfect. I also highly recommend adding in raisins and walnuts as the burst of sweetness and crunch takes it to the next level. It is also super filling and is full of good stuff to keep you going through your day! So let's get straight to the recipe!

Ingredients: - 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 small/medium sized mashed banana
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Raisins, chopped walnuts
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius.
2. In oven safe bowl/dish, mash your banana and mix together all of your ingredients.
3. Place in the oven for around 20 minutes. Add any extra toppings such as nut butter and coconut yoghurt and enjoy!
I would love to know if any of you give this recipe a go so make sure to tag me on Instagram at @shannons.plate so i can see your amazing re-creations!
